MOG Deadlock operates community game servers, website pages, public leaderboards, player profiles, and account features.
We use technical identifiers
We process IP addresses, Steam identifiers, player names, server logs, gameplay records, and moderation/security logs.
We do not sell personal data
Data is used to operate the service, protect the community, troubleshoot issues, and maintain records and progression.

Data We Process
Website and API traffic
IP address, request time, requested URL, response status, browser or client information, referrer where provided, and security or error logs.
Steam sign-in and player identity
Steam ID, display name, avatar URL, session/authentication state, linked player profile data, and account preferences.
Game server activity
Player aliases, connection events, server choice, map, route, mode, run times, jumps or movement stats, records, progression, playtime, chat or command events where logged, and moderation actions such as bans, kicks, notes, and audit events.
Billing support data
If you buy VIP, payment is handled by PayPal. MOG may process purchase status, subscription identifiers, entitlement state, and related support records. We do not need to store full card or bank details.

Operate the service
Serve pages, keep servers reachable, show leaderboards and profiles, authenticate players, and provide account features.
Security and abuse prevention
Detect outages, investigate crashes, prevent abuse, enforce bans, protect accounts, and keep the servers stable.
Community features
Maintain records, routes, stats, progression, VIP status, and public player pages that make the network useful.
Legal basis
For EU/EEA users, processing is usually based on legitimate interests under GDPR Article 6(1)(f): operating, securing, and improving MOG services. Some account or VIP processing may also be needed to provide requested features.

Service Providers
netcup GmbH
MOG uses netcup infrastructure for hosting. netcup may process data on our behalf as a hosting provider. A Data Processing Agreement is maintained with netcup where required.
Steam
Steam is used for sign-in and player identity. Steam processes data under its own privacy terms when you use Steam services.
PayPal
PayPal processes payment data when you choose PayPal/VIP payment flows. PayPal handles payment details under its own privacy terms.
Discord
Discord is used for community and support contact. Messages sent through Discord are processed by Discord under its own privacy terms.
Storage
Retention
Server and security logs
Kept only as long as needed for operations, security, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, backups, and legal needs. Retention may vary by log type and environment.
Player records and profiles
Gameplay records, progression, preferences, VIP state, and moderation history may be kept while the service operates, unless deletion is required and technically possible.
Backups
Deleted or changed data may remain in backups until those backups expire or are replaced through normal rotation.

Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, export, or object to processing of your personal data. You may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.

Contact the MOG team through the Discord linked on this site or another official support channel. Include enough information for us to identify the relevant Steam/player account or server activity.
Limits
We may need to keep some records for security, abuse prevention, dispute handling, backups, or legal reasons. Public leaderboard and record data may also be retained where removal would affect service integrity.
