Platform Notice
MOG Deadlock is in very early alpha.
Leaderboards, times, and records are subject to change as we refine the game mode and maps.
Optional helper
Smooth autohop keeps the server authoritative and uses an optional launch helper for players who want extra polish.
MOG BHOP works with normal clients by default. The optional helper app launches vanilla Deadlock with a temporary helper-managed session config so players can opt into the smooth-autohop path without permanently patching their install.
Install
1. Extract the helper
Put the helper folder anywhere outside the Deadlock install. There is no need to overwrite game DLLs or keep permanent client patches around.
2. Launch through the helper
Use the helper to start Deadlock when you want the optional smooth-autohop session. If you want vanilla behavior, just launch Deadlock normally instead.
3. Verify compatibility
The helper writes one temporary session cfg and uses the hidden compatibility command mog_ah_clientas the shared server contract. If the helper can't initialize safely, gameplay falls back to the normal server-only path.
Current contract
Rules version v1
Current helper target 0.1.0
Jump buffer 0.24s
Landing consume 0.16s
Near-ground trace 24 units
Minimum airborne 0.035s
What it does not do
It does not change speed, timers, records, styles, or server authority.
It does not become required for public play.
It should fail closed when the rules version does not match or when a safe vanilla-client hook is unavailable.
Easy rollback
Smooth session on: launch through the helper.
Smooth session off: launch Deadlock normally.
Full uninstall: delete the helper folder and any optional shortcuts.
